A: Start-up time:
The start-up time (from start-up of expander to up-to-standard of oxygen purity) is about 48 hours.
The start-up time to generate oxygen after temporary stop:
8 hours after temporary stop: 4-6 hours
24 hours after temporary stop: 8-10 hours
The time needed to discharge liquid from cold box (cooling tower and condenser) is about 8 hours.
The time of defrosting of cold box is about 36 hours.
The required time of load variation:
From full load to 90% load or otherwise: 1 hour
From 90% load to 75% load or otherwise: 2-3 hours
